Acme Transformers
are constructed to, or beyond the strictest standards of U.L. and the
Canadian Standards
Association.
Founded in 1917 in
Cleveland, Ohio, Acme is a known leader in power conversion equipment
in the electrical and electronic markets. The Acme product line has
included, as a central part, dry-type distribution transformers for over
sixty years. Acme added DC power supplies in 1981 to its expanding
catalog of products when it acquired Standard Power power supplies.
Currently Acme is made up of three divisions which include Aerospace,
Electronics, and the Power Distribution Products Division located in
Lumberton, North Carolina.
